my Idea Of Angel came from thinking about the way we romanticise people when we fall in love. i think sometimes you fall for your idea of someone as much as you fall for the person themselves, and i wanted w this album to explore everything that comes with that.

the songs move through different stages of relationships: wanting someone, falling for them, uncertainty, jealousy, and eventually having to let go. there are moments where love feels consuming and others where you start to realise that the person you thought was perfect never really existed.

the title came from that idea. an 'angel' isn't who someone really is; it's the version of them you've created in your head.
i'm so proud of this album, and i hope you love it as much as i do.
